| | A few more days until the big trip and it's barely registering. Seriously. It's not that I don't think about it, since it nudges me to go to the bank or buy new shoes|batteries|CF cards, but that's about as far as it goes. So to everyone out there who's been asking me the question "are you excited?", um, "kinda..." It almost feels like people are more excited for me than I am -- for bets on THAT matter go ahead and ping a particular R. Son -- but until I step on the plane my excitement level is going to be flat.
Speaking of airplanes, a China Airlines rep called me a few days ago and wanted to know why I was booked to fly back to LA from Taipei on 8/6 AND 8/8. Turns out there's another guy with the same exact name who is flying to Taiwan on the same flight. Heh, wonder if I'll meet him.
